- Velocity The amount of work an agile team completes in a sprint, used to forecast future capacity.
- Burndown Chart A graph showing remaining work over time within a sprint or release.
- Kanban A pull-based agile method that visualizes work on a board and limits work in progress.
- Minimum Viable Product The smallest releasable version of a product that delivers value and enables learning.
- Definition of Done A shared checklist of criteria a work item must meet before it is considered complete.
- Agile Approach An iterative, incremental delivery approach emphasizing collaboration and responding to change.
- Hybrid Approach Combining predictive and agile practices to fit a project's unique needs.
- Predictive Approach A plan-driven, sequential approach where scope, schedule, and cost are defined early.
- Scrum Master A servant leader who facilitates Scrum events, coaches the team, and removes impediments.
- Product Owner The person accountable for maximizing product value and managing the product backlog.
- Retrospective A recurring meeting where the team reflects on its process and identifies improvements.
- Lessons Learned Knowledge gained during the project, recorded so future projects can benefit.
